Brain-Healthy Eating for Parkinson’s: MIND vs. PRO-21 Diets

Join us this Parkinson’s Awareness Month for a practical and uplifting conversation on brain-healthy eating with nutrition coach Sabina Kelly of Future You Nutrition. During this educational session, Sabina will introduce two evidence-informed dietary approaches — the MIND diet and the PRO-21 diet — and discuss how these nutrition frameworks may support cognitive health, energy levels, and overall wellness for individuals living with Parkinson’s and other neurological conditions.

Drawing from both her professional training and personal wellness journey, Sabina shares realistic, sustainable strategies that make healthy eating approachable and achievable in everyday life. Attendees will learn how simple dietary choices can help support brain health and build habits that promote long-term well-being.

At The Kensington Falls Church, we are deeply committed to supporting individuals and families navigating Parkinson’s disease. Our community offers specialized programming, a dedicated Parkinson’s Communications Club, multidisciplinary partnerships, and a care team trained to meet the unique needs associated with movement and neurological conditions.

We strive to be a trusted resource, a hub for education, and a place where individuals and families feel understood, empowered, and supported every step of the journey.
