Please join us on the 1st Wednesday of every month with Susie Sarkisian, CPCC, Certified Life Coach. Share time connecting with other caregivers and discussing common challenges in a welcoming, private setting. This group is complimentary and open to all family and friends of Kensington Residents.
March’s topic will be Anticipatory Grief: Understanding and Coping with Grief Before Loss. Susie will help you understand this type of grief and will provide tools to cope with complex emotions, foster meaningful connections, and navigate the challenges of an uncertain future.
YOU, as a caregiver, matter to us as much as our residents do. We understand that caregiving for someone can, at times, be a demanding commitment. We also believe it is one you should not undertake alone. That’s why we strive to preserve your well-being by helping you stay positive, manage fatigue and make the most of time spent with your loved one.
Susie Sarkisian has worked in senior living for the last 15 years, most recently as the Director of Family Services for our sister community The Kensington White Plains in New York. As a daughter whose father had Lewy Body Dementia, Susie found herself drawn to supporting her mother, the caregiver. She is a Certified Life Coach, specially trained in listening, coaching, supporting, and validating others. Click here to learn more about Susie.
Let The Kensington Falls Church be your trusted resource for information and the comforting ally you need. For questions regarding this event, please email Kayla Hulbert, Outreach and Events Coordinator, khulbert@kensingtonsl.com.
