Let The Kensington Falls Church support you in achieving new goals in your Parkinson’s journey! Join us at our community for our weekly Parkinson’s Communications Club, led by Matthew McKeon, Speech Language Pathologist.
The Club establishes a wellness and prevention program for individuals with Parkinson’s disease and their care partners. The club is not therapy, rather, it is designed to improve your volume. The approach helps people speak loudly and clearly in order to make themselves heard. Most importantly, this club is designed in a group setting – one for all and all for one. Exercise your voice as well as your body and make yourself heard.
At The Kensington, Our Promise is to love and care for your family as we do our own. We are here for you – skilled, prepared and ready to participate fully in your care journey. As specialists in all aspects of care for Assisted Living and Memory Care, we offer services and programs that are thoughtfully designed, clinically comprehensive and highly personalized.
Matthew McKeon, M.S. CCC-SLP, is a Speech Language Pathologist who has been providing comprehensive speech therapy to individuals with voice, speech, and swallowing disorders for more than 15 years. He has a Masters in Health Science in Speech Language Pathology from Duquesne University. His diversified experience includes research assistant studying the aging voice for the VA, clinician for an Otolaryngology office, and clinician for a voice clinic.
