The Kensington’s Fourth of July celebration in Connections was a patriotic success! After our regularly scheduled activities, the residents and their loved ones relaxed in the piano lounge with patriotic songs provided by our guest musician. Haven residents took a trip to Connections to join in the festivities, and music was accompanied by some delicious refreshments. Everyone ate, danced and sang until dinner time. Possibly the most exciting part of the day was the homemade cake, made for the residents by Hana. Thank you to Chef Samir for the wonderful food, and to the care managers, activities staff and family members for all their help in making this day very special for our residents!
