A newly established Kensington Family Support Group is open to all family and friends of Kensington residents. This supportive, discussion-based group will explore issues related to navigating your loved one’s aging journey. Our first meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 24th at 6:30pm.
The support group will be led by Margaret Comisky, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Gerontologist with professional experience in geriatric mental health, home health medical social work, hospital social work, discharge planning, support group facilitation, and adult day programming. Margaret works as a Geriatric Care Manager who helps individuals and loved ones identify the numerous opportunities and challenges related to life transitions, mental health needs, and the aging process.
