Hello, Kensington Falls Church Residents, Family and Friends,
Over the last year, my colleagues and I have achieved many unforgettable milestones. We broke ground; built a beautiful residence; made its interior comfortable and safe; assembled an amazing team; got acquainted with neighbors; and developed strong alliances with area professionals.
We’re excited that over 50 residents now call The Kensington Falls Church home. Please know that my team and I are committed to delivering on Our Promise to love and care for your family as we do our own. We will continue to expand staff, develop enrichment opportunities, enhance clinical services and deepen relationships with our residents and their families. Thank you for your patience as we all adjust to new surroundings and new routines.
Speaking of new routines, I am about to experience a few of my own. My first baby is due shortly. At the close of this week, I begin my maternity leave so I can turn my attention toward bassinets and bottles.
In my absence, I am entrusting leadership of The Kensington Falls Church to Amy Feather, as the acting Executive Director. Amy is a devoted member of my team who is kind, approachable and industrious. You will be in good hands while I am away. Greg Jimmie our Director of Community Support from our Kensington Senior Living team will also support Amy during my absence. Greg will work closely with our Directors of Care and Nursing to ensure best in class services. Amy will continue with her Tuesday through Saturday schedule throughout my maternity leave and can be reached via email at afeather@kensingtonsl.com or at the community.
Thank you for your friendship and cheer over the last many months. And thank you for giving The Kensington Falls Church the opportunity to care for you or your loved one. I’ve truly enjoyed getting to know you all and can’t wait to share news of the youngest Wirth’s grand entrance! I will return in August.
Warmly,
Tanya Walker Wirth
Executive Director
