Although the skies were grey, the smiles were bright at the 2018 Memorial Day Parade. The day began with a Memorial Day ceremony with remarks by Retired Army Colonel Ward Nickisch. The parade kicked off at 2 p.m. with more than 60 participants on Park Avenue. The Kensington family was not left out from the parade. Our residents, together with their families and the staff of Kensington, watched as well as joined in the parade.
