More Than a Job: Join Us for Direct Care Training and Make a Difference with a Senior Care Career

In 2024, the demand for skilled nursing and caregiving roles is still at an all-time high.

To recruit compassionate individuals to fill our roles as Care Partners, we have launched our 5-day paid Direct Care Training program.

This program will quickly and effectively train compassionate individuals to become Care Partners in a senior care career, providing essential support and care to our residents.

Upon completion, you’ll begin a part-time or full-time role as a Care Partner.

Our Care Partners are more than caregivers, they are essential team members who ensure the well-being and daily care of our seniors, placing a special focus on helping those with dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Become a Kensington Care Partner and join our direct care training, from June 10th – 14th, and discover how you can start your healthcare journey at The Kensington Falls Church.

Our promise is to love and care for your family as we do our own.

Who is this program for?

Our training program accommodates a diverse group of individuals interested in advancing or beginning a career in senior healthcare.

Here’s a closer look at who can benefit from our Direct Care Training program:

  • Recent high school and college graduates: If you’ve just finished high school or healthcare-related college studies and are looking for a clear and rewarding career path, this program provides the foundational skills and experience you need to succeed in healthcare.
  • Current college students: If you’re a college student in need of a part-time job, our training program can benefit you. You don’t need to be enrolled in nursing classes to apply.
  • Nursing students: For those enrolled in LPN programs or other nursing education, our training offers practical, hands-on experience that complements your academic studies, enhancing your capabilities and employability.
  • Current healthcare workers: CNAs, HHAs, and PCAs already in the field but looking to elevate their careers will find this program perfect for stepping into more advanced roles such as Care Partners, with additional training and responsibilities. Note: If you’re already working for The Kensington Falls Church as a CNA, HHA, or PCA, this training will be rolled into your onboarding and training process.
  • Career changers: Anyone interested in shifting to a healthcare career, seeking meaningful work that makes a real difference in the lives of others, will find this program an ideal entry point. No healthcare experience is necessary, as the program is designed to train you from the ground up.
