Become part of a close-knit senior living community

Working at The Kensington Falls Church means joining a family-like environment where everyone knows your name.

Unlike larger, impersonal workplaces such as hospital systems, our community offers genuine connections among staff and residents.

From sharing a laugh in the hallway to celebrating milestones together, camaraderie and support are part of daily life here.

Our Promise is to love and care for our residents as we do our own family, and that includes our team members too!

More than just nursing roles: job types in senior living

Senior living is not just about nursing and caregiving roles, although they are the foundation.

Senior living offers a wide range of roles to match different skills and interests, all of which work together to improve the lives of our residents.

Whether you’re driving residents to appointments, preparing meals in the kitchen, or coordinating activities to keep everyone engaged, every role plays an important part.

Some of our current openings include:

  • Concierge: Be the friendly face that greets visitors and assists residents with their needs, making everyone feel welcome.
  • Memory Care Life Enrichment Professional: Design and lead engaging activities that bring joy to residents with memory care needs.
  • Assisted Living Care Partner (CNA, HHA, or PCA): Provide daily support and companionship, building meaningful relationships with residents.
  • Memory Care Partner (CNA, HHA, or PCA): Provide specialized care and understanding to residents in our two memory care neighborhoods, Connections for early stages and Haven for late stages of dementia and Alzheimer’s.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Deliver high-quality nursing care and be a key supervising role of our healthcare team.

Make a daily impact on residents’ lives

Imagine starting your day by brightening someone’s morning or helping a resident achieve a personal goal. In senior living, every interaction has the potential to make a significant difference.

For instance, as a Memory Care Life Enrichment Professional, you might help a resident reconnect with a beloved hobby, sparking joy and a sense of accomplishment.

As a Concierge, your warm greeting could set a positive tone for an entire family’s day while they visit their loved ones.

Team members often find that their relationships with residents are the most rewarding part of their job. Knowing their preferences, stories, and personalities allows you to provide personalized care that truly matters.

Get a stable job in a growing industry with high demand

The demand for senior care is increasing rapidly as our population ages and baby boomers reach retirement age together.

This growth means that careers in senior living offer long-term stability and numerous opportunities. With a nationwide shortage of caregivers, your skills are more valuable than ever.

By joining our team, you’ll secure a promising career and meet a critical need in our community.

Learn each resident’s stories and life experiences

One of the most rewarding aspects of working in senior living is the opportunity to hear incredible stories from our residents — they have lived through remarkable times, witnessed historical events, and have lots of wisdom to share.

For example, you might chat with a resident who participated in significant social movements, gaining insights into history that you won’t find in books. Or you could learn cooking tips from someone who perfected family recipes over decades.

These stories are just as enriching for you to hear as they are for the senior who gets to share them with you.

Support families during important transitions

Helping families through the ups and downs of senior care is one of the most rewarding parts of working in assisted living.

From explaining how a loved one’s care plan works to clarifying what’s included in their daily schedule to easing worries about the move, you’re there to make a confusing and emotional process more manageable.

And at the end of the day, it’s all worth it when you hear a family member say, “This is such a nice place,” “Thanks for taking care of Dad,” or “You’re a lifesaver—I don’t know what we’d do without you.”

Those moments show just how much your support means.
