Dear Kensington Residents, Families and Friends –
Please join me in welcoming the following new team members to The Kensington Falls Church. We are excited to have Peter, Alex, Alyssa and Joel join the team and look forward to working with them.
Peter de la Cruz – Director of Assisted Living
Peter has dedicated over 12 years of service to assisted living and has had the opportunity to work as a care manager, lead care manager, medication technician and department coordinator. Peter understands the importance of these positions and the team’s dedication to improving the quality of life for our residents. In his free time, Peter likes to play tennis, shoot pool, and try different restaurants.
Alex Keatinge – Director of Business Administration
After leaving his home country of Australia, Alex began his career in hospitality, ultimately joining Marriott International, holding a variety of hotel operations and leadership positions in London and Warsaw. With his wife and two daughters, Alex moved to the United States in 1997, working in Marriott’s corporate headquarters for several years before leaving to become a quality assurance consultant, focusing on hospitality. Alex enjoys live music and photography and currently resides in Fairfax County with his family.
Alyssa Chilton – Human Resource Manager
Before moving to Virginia from New Jersey in January of 2018, Alyssa worked as a case manager, assisting the HR department for a behavioral health company. Since moving to Virginia, Alyssa has continued her passion for Human Resources while working at an IT Solutions firm and now The Kensington Falls Church. During her free time, Alyssa enjoys relaxing with her dog, hiking, and trying new foods!
Joel Nason – Move-In Coordinator and Assisted Living Support
Joel recently graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration and a Minor in Gerontology. Many of you may remember Joel from his time as an intern with our community last summer. As Joel experienced Kensington Senior Living, he developed a passion for our work and our residents and decided to pursue a permanent position with our organization. We are excited to have Joel join our team and welcome him to the state of Virginia.
We are also excited to roll out a new email address for all of your care and wellness questions and requests. Please send your emails directly to FCCare Management@KensingtonSL.com. Your email will be received by the assisted living and memory care teams, as well as, the nursing team and myself, without having to name individual email addresses. The appropriate individuals will respond as needed. We are hopeful this will make your communication with our team easier.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions. With warm wishes for a great week.
Amy Feather, Executive Director
