The Kensington Falls Church is proud to announce that we are organizing and hosting a fundraising event to support World Central Kitchen and their efforts to assist Ukraine families following February’s invasion.
Coming together to love and care for others is Our Promise, which is why we are devoted to supporting fundraisers close to our hearts.
Kensington Senior Living communities take pride in our humanitarian work and know that together we can make a positive difference in the world. We have previously partnered with fundraisers for the National Alzheimer’s Association, the Parkinson’s Foundation, and Hilarity for Charity.
This time, we’re fundraising for World Central Kitchen, a non-profit organization providing nourishing meals to families impacted by natural disasters and other emergencies across the globe.

Who is World Central Kitchen and how is their mission similar to ours?
The World Central Kitchen (WCK) has been feeding families worldwide since 2010. What began as a mission to help Haiti after a devastating earthquake became a mission to serve and provide nourishing meals for all victims of natural disasters and events.
The Kensington Falls Church mission aligns with theirs, as our goals are to take care of our local and global community and provide our residents with nutritious and quality food.
WCK founder Chef Jose Andres, believes that food is essential, especially after a disaster. A plate of food offers hope and relief, nourishment, and brings community members back together again.
